Heritage Baptist Church is committed to God's design for marriage as set forth in Scripture. By definition, a Christian marriage is the union of one man and one woman who have each committed their lives to Jesus Christ. Marriage is a sacred union ordained by God to be a lifetime commitment and a reflection of the pure love Christ has for His bride, the church (Ephesians 5:22-23, Mark 10:6-9).

In light of the significance of the marriage commitment, our church and our pastors take their participation in the whole wedding process seriously. Heritage Baptist Church's policy requires any couple desiring to use the church facilities meet certain requirements. Any exceptions to this policy must be authorized by the Senior Pastor.

HBC Wedding Prerequisites:

1. The couple must be believers in Jesus Christ.
2. At least one of the individuals must be an active member of HBC.
3. The couple must complete premarital counseling from an HBC-approved counselor pastor. To learn more, click here.
